Display the QR code we issue on your website and alert all staff of it via induction courses, intranet, website, email sign offs and the like. This QR code allows staff to download the free application available on both the Apple/Google Play stores. Since registration is without a name, phone number or email, we will not know who the person, brave enough to disclose misconduct, is! The app is retaliation-proof !
The chat will appear on our screens with a system-generated name like Hydrangeas 245 attached to it and our seasoned fraud and corruption experts will then start a conversation to elicit and tease out what seems to be the issue. The whistleblower (we prefer FraudBuster) gives himself/herself a nickname for the chat.
Once we know what the issue is all about, we tell you (the organisation) about it in an email and outline the main details. You tell us how you prefer to receive it, we can compile it anyway you wish or in a your standard format.
We continue to chat with the FraudBuster until we know the full details. The benefit of the chat medium is that, unlike other hotline systems (email, website form etc), there is no interruption in the dialogue and therefore it is far easier to communicate.
We hope to then compile the facts of the case quickly of time and let you know, if our own experiences match the case, what lessons may be learnt. After all, we are auditors and investigators, so any suggestions for improvement could be within our collective information bank.
